Maybe the president of the company has told you to go find him/her a copier for their home or office and you don’t really know where to start, so you hopped online to see what is out there. You have found this site and now, you are interested enough that you are checking out this article. That’s awesome, and we would like to make this as simple as possible.
When evaluating a desktop copier there are a few things you will want to keep in mind.
- Warranty – Is it on-site or depot? If your VP’s are like ours, you will want this to be an on-site warranty.
- Speed — Look at both warm up time as well as copies per minute when evaluating speed.
- Cost — There is generally an inverse relationship between cost of the equipment and the cost of the prints. Keeps this in mind if you do a lot of prints.
- Scanning — Not all units do scanning well. Make sure yours does.
