There are a number of ways to save money when it comes to your printer or copier. Most people focus too much on working for a good deal on their copier lease price, and don’t pay attention to other parts areas that they may be overspending. One of the best examples of this is in how many prints people purchase. Saving on prints is one of the best, and most overlooked areas when it comes to saving money.

There are a few things you need to know when deciding how many prints you may need.

1. Copier leasing companies will always try to get you to buy more prints than you need
2. Unused prints do not rollover to the following month
3. You can buy more prints mid-month if you need them, but it will be more expensive.

Copier leasing companies love to try and scare you into buying more prints than you need. They don’t rollover so anything that is unused is simply money in their pockets, and wasted money for you. The most common tactic is try and convince you that you should buy more than you need so you don’t have to pay the higher price for more prints down the road.

This is a total scam. It’s always better to pay for the prints that you need, even for a slightly higher price, than it is to throw money away every month.
